Wait. Luxury potato chips are a thing? Yes, dear reader. In the ongoing trend of once-lowly items being transformed into luxuries, behold another example.  If your Valentine is a little more salty than sweet, he or she is sure to love these!

These five potato chips, made with only the rarest ingredients, came in a sleek black box, and sold for $55 dollars  – nearly $12 a chip. Sadly, these sold out almost immediately.  Don't worry, I found you another option.  I received a huge box assortment of these as a gift from a beloved vendor a couple of years ago.  They were absolutely amazing and I ate almost all of them by myself!  The Billy Goat brand uses only Idaho russet potatoes, and they have a precise chip-making process down to a science.  As well as their original chips, they also offer spicy, ridged “kicker” chips, plus sweet potato for those who are looking for something a little different. And if you just can’t get enough of their incredible flavors, they even sell their spices individually, so that you can recreate some of the taste in your own kitchen. Their chips are kosher, non-GMO, and gluten free.
