Bar Cart Style

Up on the blog this week, I am discussing the bar cart.  It makes your liquor look slicker, and seamlessly wheels rounds of apéritifs from the kitchen to the dining room. But don’t sell the bar cart short: The four-wheeled wonder is more than meets the eye. Whether you’re spring cleaning, sprucing up your space in Philadelphia, newly moved, or simply need a change, a bar cart is your ticket to a fresh look and smart storage. With our bar cart ideas, you’ll learn its versatility, from the bathroom to the breakfast nook, the office to the playroom – and beyond.  One of these bar cart ideas is certain to be perfect for your home, no matter what your interior design style. And you'll have the personal satisfaction that comes with making an attractive and functional piece of furniture all by yourself.

The highlight of any bar cart is the liquor! The middle tier on this bar cart is a great way to display your favorite bottles and also gives you easy access to the ones you use the most!

To make your bar cart look pretty, tuck in some flowers, touches of sparkle, and fun accessories like paper straws.

Getting a tiered cart, like this one, will offer easy access to both shelves. Plus, you won't have to worry about making sure your decor looks vertically balanced.

Shorter glassware is the perfect thing to slide into uber-short shelves.  If your bar cart doesn’t have a built in glassware rack, like this one does, use a tray to store your wine + cocktail glasses. Then, when you need them, you can simply use the tray to serve up your drinks!

A pitcher you can mix cocktails in is a very nice touch.  Keep the bar cart stocked with sparkling water, tonic water, ginger beer (for Moscow Mules) and your favorite La Croix flavors!  Bright pops of green, blue, and pink, combine with elegant glassware and accessories for a well-rounded look that serves both endless style and delicious drinks.

While minimalist styling is a go-to for many, bar carts are a great place to have fun with decor.
